Greetings, All!
Upon pre-flighting my Yak, I noticed a retaining ring resting on the 90 degree axle-attach junction. Obviously it had slipped out of the bottom of my left main gear strut. There was no loss of fluid and no sagging in the posture of the aircraft. Guessing it's not a tough fix, but since good ol' WI just got 7" of fresh snow on Saturday - with another 4-7" forecast over the next 24 hours, working conditions inside the T-Hangar (icebox) are not real pleasant currently. Therefore, I thought I'd take a shortcut and asked if anyone has advice on the best way to go about this repair, what I will need to obtain, and if any special tools are required?
Thank you for the consideration!
