Have checked all front to back. We figure it is the Automatic starting device that is on the pump. I've taken one off an old engine, and we hope to test it this week.
If its not the ASD, then I guess I'll have to spring for a new HP pump.
I hate just changing parts till it starts.

Hey, if you got an old engine, would you be willing to sell the oil pan and oil pump assy if I should happen to need one? I've got a feeling I will.

Could be the HP pump.In any cases, the HP pump is not made for civilian fuel, but for military fuel (civilian + lubricant ).
