Are you saying you had the problem and switched your breaker to a bigger one or just a helpful suggestion ?

Switching to a larger breaker without first examining for the proper reason for why this is happening, is the best way in the world to spend $800 or so on a new alternator.

Never go bigger but I have seen bad breakers.
