Hi Kolbers, greetings form Los Angeles,
I want to post an update on my Firestar/HKS progress. We're getting close to flying, finally, after a long long time. The wiring was finished, the fuel system was finished, installing the instruments and sensors are finished, and it's almost ready for engine runs. Today we pre-oiled the engine using the HKS method of removing one set of spark plugs, and spinning the engine with the starter, First I turned the engine over by hand slowly about 50 blades to prime the pump and get poil through the engine galleys. So when we hit the starter button it jumped right up to 15 PSI on the gauge. Next trip to the airport will be engine start and observing the engine behavior, temperatures, and smoothness.

Good going , Bill! It seems like it has been a long road. Good luck on your engine runs and taxi tests. -George-
