As the OP, I wanted to ask Bob, specifically, a question. The title was meant to do just that. I do, however, agree with you that there is a good discussion goin on. Not sure if I can change the title, I will try...

Don't worry about it. "Thread creep" is a very
common phenomenon during such discussions. It's
exacerbated by my own scrambling of responses
when dealing with more than one thread. Thread
titles can be quickly obsoleted.
