M-14P engine teardown inspection

I got a brand new M-14P engine installed in my Nanchang. Then it had overspeed during the test flight. Plan to send it for tear down inspection. Can anyone recommend a good shop for this inspection?

I have a new engine in my Yak 52 – TW  I am very happy with. The work was done by Richard Goode in England via his shop in Hungary. I can tell you about my experiences with the other shops referenced.   Give me a call at your convenience, 303-400-1900.   I also have a T-shirt of yours you left on the trip to OSH in the house in Wisconsin.

I bought a new engine from Richard Goode as well. It is on my Nanchang now. Very very good quality and affordable as well. Love his quality and service. 



He also gave me a quote for this teardown inspection. Very competitive. But the freight is the issue. I am just wondering if I don’t need send my engine to Hungry for teardown inspection.

It was two years ago. After installing the M14-P engine and Whirlwind MT14 prop, the test pilot took up in the air for the test flight. On the descend, the prop RPM went to 3500 for a few seconds. He immediately pulled the nose up and reduced the RPM. Then landed. If you want to have the more details on this, I can ask the test pilot to call you.
