I recently found a chap who buys 25kHz radios and other avionics. He has an advert on AFORS - Danny's email is goodpuppy4(at)yahoo.com

https://afors.com/aircraftView/42373

I sold an SL30 (with Mod rev AE) receiving the money via PayPal within an hour.

Instead of letting that old radio gather dust on the shelf release its value. He resells them in S.America.

Please mention my name when contacting him.

The chap on AFORS only wants to pay £50 or less.

The place to sell 25khz avionics is Ebay.com in the USA.

I recently sold a Becker radio for £300.

David, people on this side of the pond can use ebay.co.uk, as items still get advertised internationally. My avionics stuff sold to Italy, America, and Australia !

David,
Sorry but if you were offered £50 then that may we’ll have been all it was worth. I received a lot more than that. Many times more in fact.

I am just trying to help people. Even £50 in the wallet is better than a shelf ornament.

I don’t get a commission if that is what you are thinking.

Hello John

There seems to be a crossed wire somewhere. Like you I was just trying to advise people where I sold my old Becker radio which was Ebay.com (other sales sites are available). I did call the chap who advertised on AFORS and he offered me £50.

I can understand if folk want to accept a quick sale for a low price but if time isn't of the essence then there are other options.

BW
