Ok Housai guru's...
It's not necessary soon, but eventually I'll need to replace the rubber shock mounts on my CJ's Housai, around the engine mount ring.
I understand there are (16) total: ( on front and ( on back?
Are there any special techniques I should be aware of, that anyone has found particularly effective?
Pitfalls to avoid?
Seems like placing a tail stand is wise, and perhaps shoring up the engine to counteract its weight to relieve pressure on the ( mounting studs?
Doesn't seem like the studs need to be removed. ?
Planning ahead before I make a costly mistake...
Many thanks all-

Normal shop engine crane lifting through a fat strap around the gearbox / crankcase interface with tail supported seems to work nicely.
We have given up using the rubber engine mounts. They do not seem to last very long. Instead we use a urethane material that is much more durable. They aren't cheap but then nor is having to change those 16 pesky rubber things every 100 hours.

Can you please post a source? I'm facing this when I can get around to it...

Hi all
Could any body explain how to replace these rubber shocks.
Do one need to take the hole engine of or can you replace them one at a time with out taking the engine of the ring.
Any help would be appreciated.
