HI all,I'm happy to inform the CJ6 operators about the progress of composite blades for the stock 285 HP chinese motor.

The GT2V146.-250 blades are the direct replacement of metal blades perfectly compatible with the OEM hub.NO modifications are required.
Here's the picture of the most complicated part, the metal adaptor that has to be synchronized with femal thread.
More pics ASAP.

Best regards for now Alex Tonini

Alex

These look fantastic, what's the weight difference between stock blades as a pair and these, do we assume a new W&B is required?

Happy to act as a test mule if you need a stock CJ and Housai motor with prop hub to get certification, contact me off line

Single OEM blade is 13 kg while the GT composite single is 7 kg.Go metric on metric machine !! Now hub has 12kg less, what the CJ experts are saying about CG ? I'm not that expert so advises are useful.
Thanks Alex

Looking very good Alex!

For your information the stock J9 Chinese alum. alloy blade weighs 19.5 to
20 lbs. or 8.8 to 9 Kgs.

Since the CJ in civil use requires a considerable amount of nose up ballast
the small addition that may be required is easily handled. It may well, in
fact, be a negligible amount and of no consequence.

To satisfy my curiosity; Are your blades built over a structural wood
base, like MT or a plastic foam base?

Regards;
Walt

Duh!

I should have written "the small reduction that -----".
