Evening All,
Has anyone fitted a Dynon heated pitot head and then performed the LAA's ASI calibration. Using the heading method. Then inputted the data into their Excel spread sheet? If so what sort of accuracy did you get. The spread sheet is using certified aircraft standards for ASI error tolerances. I've had some leaks that I've sorted out. But I'm still fairly far outside the tolerance.

Hi Matt,

I've fitted the Dynon heated pitot and performed the calibration using the heading method. It was very accurate. Well within the requirements.

Regards
Carl

Hi Carl,
I've been working through the problem with the LAA. I've had to move my static source. I'm nearly there now.
Where abouts did you fit you static port?
Matt
