Can you post a picture of how the system fits together? I am not picturing it in my head.

Richard,
Both fittings will be reduced down & joined to a “T” fitting.
I was uncertain of the vent cap / termination methods.
suggestions welcome.
Thank you

I hate to seem persistently dumb, but can you post a schematic, a detailed explanation, or a picture that shows both tanks and the filling system all in one shot? I went to the West Marine page and found your Perko Gas Fill & Tank Vent assembly that you pictured, I assume that the filler side will go to a T and then fill both tanks at once? Or - ?
I guess the Perko assembly includes a vent function and you are considering tying the two 5-gallon tanks into it? Or - ?
Without having a better concept of what you are thinking of doing & how you plan to do it, it is not possible to be helpful.

Rick,
Please see attached, suggestions are appreciated.!!
The tubing is mock up only...
my concern is attachment to the tank bung - for proper ventilation/evaporation concerns.

I am only guessing here but I suspect your vent location is in a low pressure area. You may want to do some additional research or contact Kolb. Surely would not want to vent tanks to a low pressure area.

Ducati SS brings up a good point, and it's not just the low pressure - every time the prop passes the aft end of the fuselage you are going to get a pressure pulse. Have no guess as to what that may or may not do.

I was told and have followed the practice on several aircraft, to run the open end of the vent line to a point that is lower than the bottom of the tank(s). I run mine down along side the tanks to a point below the pan that the tanks sit on. The theory being that if you are unfortunate enough to wind up inverted on the ground, the fuel will not run out through the vent line.

As Beauford would say... worth what you paid for it....
