It is well known that the Rotax cannot be handpropped, right? This was what I believed...until I watched this video (2:00 - 3:00):

That looks and feels so wrong on a Rotax. And no chocks......

Remi,
Thank you for the link. Didn't seem too hard to start at all. Until
this video, the only other time I have heard of was when someone landed
on a beach and experienced a flat battery.  Needless to say, the
incoming tide provided the necessary impetus to crank the engine
successfully by hand!

It CAN be done if you're desperate!! Probably only possible with a pre warmed engine.
