Ok my fellow CJ maintainers, another question...
Sooner than later, I'll need to replace my stock Chinese nose tire. (I'd like to keep it stock Chinese; inner tube seems okay & holding pressure.)
How best to separate and re-join the wheel halves?
I've serviced the NLG bearings, but never split the actual wheel.
Advice, tips, do's and don'ts?
Expanded pic from parts catalog attached.
Thanks, any info very
much appreciated---
Justin

You will find this to be incredibly easy when you get to it, no worries.
One point on pushing the axle out... either a deep socket of just the right size or a wooden dowl that's turned to the right size will be of much help. Don't use a metal hammer on anything.

Awesome, thanks! Yup yup, found a deep socket that worked very well when I last greased the nose bearings...
Thanks for input!
