FWIW My KIS4 (N819PR) now has over 1,500hrs flight time and is still going strong. I bought it from the original builder (Dave Tate) in 2007 with just over 400hrs on it. I am so glad I listened to Rich Trickel (RIP) and bought the KIS instead of a C182 I was interested in. It was the right decision for me.

Here is a photo of us with "Blanquita" after we returned from our flight to Havana, Cuba. It was taken by a professional photographer for a local magazine (South).

That's really awesome Galin. I have only a fraction of your hours in my KIS. Before owning this plane all I've ever really flown was Cessna's and Pipers, but flying my KIS is the MOST fun I've ever had flying! Godspeed on your next 1500.

Galin,
Rich, Vance and the other original support group folks would and do have a smile on their face after you have proven their design strength in every type of flying! It’s a great plane and you and Millie are the ultimate users with your many trips in the USA, Cuba, and Caribbean both VFR AND heavy IFR. We appreciate your personal contributions, website content, as well as the generous contributions to this list server. WELL DONE!
