I would like recommendations for a low-cost schematic drawing utility for someone who doesn’t speak CAD...

I use ExpressPCB Classic.

The program is free and easy to learn.  I used it to draw the schematics attached to my recent posts.

I've been using Upverter to great success. Upverter.com. Decent library, easy to use... Cloud based so others can help you. (If you share your design with me, I'll provide the input I can.) I'm building a touchscreen engine monitor/ADC with it - been flying rev 1 for 2 years... I just added the Teensy 4.1 part to their library last night...



For CAD, Onshape is great. Great video help and support online. Again, cloud based so we can share and help each other. Plus, you can grab others designs to integrate into your own (grab a raspberry pi to drop in a case you're designing to ensure it'll fit.)
