Robert,
The ZAC builders pages, 701 photo assembly giude, "firewall forward", section E, page 9 of 11, shows the battery mounted in what looks like the factory demo airplane.
This doesn't resemble the "tail" very much, although it is in the "rear fuselage" portion (at least that's what they call it when it isn't fastened to the "front fuselage").
Maybe we have a thread for the remainder of the week.

Zed, least we forget the baggage compartment behind the CG!
I am thinking to do the final W&B with all my camping gear in the back, this
will stay there permanent.
Perhaps this way I can put the battery in the engine compartment?
