Hi Group, if anyone has a stratus Sub installed may I ask what you are using for carb heat and where did you get it or how did you make it? Also what are you seeing for prop clearance and if possible may I get a few pictures sent directly to me at cdngoose(at)hsfx.ca (cdngoose(at)hsfx.ca)

Hi,

I'm flying a Stratus and have no carb heat.  The Bing carburetors are 

altitude compensating type and don't have a venturi that

would accumulate ice. 



For my tri-gear, the 730 lbs empty put prop clearance at more than 7-inches.



If you need a picture, my website is full of images from which to glean 

this info.

I'm pretty much the same as Larry other than I'm flying the HD (at) 720 lbs.

No carb heat, & approx 7 1/4" prop to ground clearance.

Also try posting your ? to the "Stratus" list as several Stratus fliers read 

only that list and not the Z list.
