I realize this isn’t a true Zenith listing – but you gotta check this out just the same.  

   

   

[b]THIS HAS TO BE THE ULTIMATE BIG BOYS TOY!!!!!!  (FOR MILLIONAIRES ONLY ?) [/b]

 This is a really neat model airplane -- truly amazing!  Make sure you click on the movie link at the bottom of the page to watch the movie of it in flight.     

    

Actually has 8 "real turbines" at about $1500 each!  Took over 2 years to 

 build. It has a wing span of about 22 feet. Takes multiple pilots , as there 

 are so many things to control.  

 Think they were nervous during the maiden flight?  

  Unbelievable that someone would make this - all real turbines!   $12,000 just for the engines !

Yea, but they crashed that bad boy a few months later.  Made a big  smoke ball in the sky!  Lots of money gone down the drain.  Could have  bought a Jabiru FWF for what they crashed!

Bill-

     I've seen some pretty  fantastic models in my time, but how about the guy that built a full scale  P-51A from scratch? Pretty amazing, even if he had to sub out some of the work.  Past amazing- mind boggling. The hydraulics alone are probably more complex  than a Zenith!
