Some of the sites are showing low ceilings on Monday ... around 3000' .. what are you guys seeing?

Don't mind flying in 3000' ceilings to the beach but not good for the mountains ???

Tad and I will probably be in Ocracoke by 11 AM on Saturday. We can check on the availability of hotel rooms if anyone wants to re-book at the beach. Forecast Wx is great! Give us a call.

Don't worry, it'll change!!

Anyway, 3000' above the rocks is just as high as 3000' above the sand!

I've never seen a cloud-decked box canyon at the beach. I know they
form easily in the mountains.

It may be just as high, but there is a difference between 3000 feet
above the sand and 3000 feet above the valley floor where the airport
is.
