Didn't like cable throttle system, hard to tune carbs.
third 912 I have converted,no problem.

must build all new bell crank system.line up arms with carb levers.
put spring loaded friction on cross tube. Both throttles kept.

Hugh,
Why don't you get in touch with the fellow who has the problem posted and offer to make up all that he will need to convert for a fee of course. My advise is free but if I make a part for someone, I charge a small fee.

Hugh,
How do you counter the thrust inputs on the engine? I would think with this setup engine thrust equates to carbs out of sync. It doesn't take much of a movement on the linkage arm to pull different vacuum loads form one carb to the other.

Dave,
The throttle settings do change as the engine moves from thrust and roll from torque.
I think if the control rods are parallel in all directions both carbs will change the same amount.
I'm not sure how much they move but I bet it's just a few thousanths due to the 14 inch long throttle rod.
I think the vacuum crossover tube should fix any slight variations.
I use ball rod ends to get rid of any side loads on carb.

Hugh

P.S.
Forgot to mention----912S engine--CH701. Kept cheap T throttles.

The throttle pictured on your website is an A-820 push-pull friction
lock throttle, not a vernier throttle (A-750, A-790 or A-970).

A-820 friction lock throttle control

A vernier throttle does not have the friction lock knob like yours.
It has a ball bearing mechanism inside the barrel that allows small
adjustments to be made by twisting the knob and a button in the
center of the knob that releases the vernier mechanism to allow large
adjustments to be made by pushing or pulling on the knob.
A-790 Vernier throttle control

I don't know any convenient way to use two of these vernier controls
to control the same engine or even any other type of control along
with a vernier. You would have to disable the vernier mechanism on
one to use the other because the vernier mechanism prevents the
control from moving unless you turn the knob or push the button.
That's why I decided to eliminate the second throttle control when I
installed a vernier control.

Hello Tommy.

I used the Vernier throttle from ACS wit the solid wire end, A820
on both sides.
I started with the throttle on the left side, and then decided to
install it
on both sides, because it was the perfect setup.
The old T from Zenith is still on the right side in the picture on
my home page.

Did not like that long stick because it was hard to control.
If you need the part to attatch the cable to the steel rod, I could
send it to
you. Just contact me off list with your address, and I will ship it
to you.

I've been advised by many that a vernier throttle on a Rotax is not recommended because of the carb design (full throttle on linkage break). I have the A-820 and it works perfectly. I'd hate to have to mash a vernier in an emergency considering you have to push on the button to get it to move!! Better for mixture control in my opinion...

The easy way around that, if it bothers you, is to attach the throttle rod to the engine block instead of the fire wall.

I don't see why the carb design has anything to do with the use of a vernier, if the linkage breaks the carb will go to full throttle no matter what type of throttle is used. My Subaru has a carburetor setup similar to the Rotax.  As far as mashing on the vernier in an emergency, if you need full power, just push on the face of the knob with your hand or thumb exactly the same as you would with the A-820 and you will push in the button and advance the throttle at the same time. To retard the throttle, grab the throttle with two fingers and thumb like normal, squeeze and pull. Both actions are natural and automatic and don't require any special effort. The advantage of the A-320 is that you can use two of them for dual control where you can't with the vernier. To me this is no hardship since I don't plan on flying solo from the right seat. I think the single throttle setup is a bit simpler and lighter. Either setup should work fine.
