I plan to put an injected -320 in my -4. VANS tell me I will therefore need an O-360 cowl because the injector body is deeper than the carb.

QUESTION: How do the two cowls differ. Is the 360 cowl still flat across the bottom, or does it have a step down to accomodate the air box? Is it perhaps just flatter further forward before it curves up? Any comments on the aesthetics?

You can always put your fiberglass skills to work and make whatever changes
need to be made. That is the beauty of fiberglass. made extensive mods to
mine in order to achieve the fit I needed for various interferences (oil cooler,
airbox, etc.,)
