Bob and other listers:
After a long wait, it appears that the newest and supposedly "final"
version of e-mags/p-mags are nearing shipment to a group of approximately
100 buyers, myself included. There are some updates to their web site
touting the some of the changes, with more to come I think - see
http://www.emagair.com/113.htm
Brad with the company tells me that the product will have provisions for
future communication, so that one could program the ignition for racing
versus a leisurely cruise, or perhaps for mogas instead of AV fuel. All
sounds good......
There is also a new manual available:

It has been my understanding that for past models, Bob's proposed Z-13
wiring for the product, (also revised elsewhere to include a maintenance
switch), was a little different than what the folks at e-mag electronic
ignitions spelled out. Not sure on the details of this, but I believe
Bob's wiring was intended to allow the typical ignition check during runup
(?). Anyway, I was hoping Bob and others might take a minute to review the
latest info in the provided links. Would love to hear any preliminary
comments, and especially with respect to anything you see that would
warrant a change from Z-13.
