[my apologies -- yesterday's post meant for Larry Mac]

So... does anybody have a suggestion for what to do with
the inside flashing in front of the fwd tube frame. With
the tube leaning inboard, pushing the inside flashing
inboard, the front end jams against the edge of the instr.
panel. If cut fwd of the tube (like Jeff D did), it's
left flopping in the breeze -- but it is non-structural
there. I'm thinking of cutting it halfway, down from the
top, so that it can clear the panel edge.
Larry cut it away there, but that leaves an opening in
front of the tube.

Thanks for any ideas.

Rico,
I'd suggest you just roll the piece and shorten it forward of the tube.
It could be made to match the edges of the instrument panel
but, being non structural, you only need a finished end. It won't
affect your airflow inside or contribute to leakage if your outside is
sealed canopy down. It's not an area that is noticed when finish work
is completed. I'd not add anything else.
