Both Outlook Express and Outlook have the ability to filter out messages that are a user specified size and choose a number of different things to do with the larger email. Look under the heading "Tools" FYI

Use the List Feature Navigator to browse the many List utilities available such as the Email Subscriptions page, Archive Search & Download, 7-Day Browse, Chat, FAQ, Photoshare, and much more:

Outlook also has the option to download the item description only
(header). Go to Tools -> Send/Receive Settings -> Define Send Receive
Groups, select the email account you use for this list and click on Edit.
Again select the account you use and select the radio button titled
Download item description only (applies to all messages) or check the
option to Download only item description for items larger than ... and set
the size to what ever you feel comfortable with.

Most free e-mail handlers have a similar option but you will have to poke
around to find it.

Hope this relieves some of the tension around here.

There are any number of things a user with restricted ability can do to
maximize their online experience. Complaining about the abilities that
others enjoy is by far the most popular. Learning how to allow the computer
to ease their burden is a far distant second.

Mr Kilburg,
