I just did the canopy thing on my RV8AQB. I did the glued version and can give some insight into that. Contact me off line and I can give you my $0.02 worth.

Craig, how did gluing go? I glued mine on a few weeks
ago.. holding up pretty strong.. and I'm glad I didn't
have to drill that thing anywhere  Kinda like the
way it looks, too.

Radomir,
Gluing the canopy worked well. It looks good and is very strong. The complications arose when attaching the skirts to the canopy. That took a bit of head scratching, but in the end it turned out well. Overall, I'm satisfied with the results.
