Providing you have brakes that work, taxiing without wings is no problem....all you really have is an engine test stand on wheels which is also equipped with a nice seat.
It helps to have the windshield in place if you plan to ride in it.
Otherwise, tie the main gear to something that won't move and run the engine.
Be aware that prop blast tends to fill the 701 fuselage if no windshield exists.
One fellow also put a spring scale in line with his rope and determined the "thrust".
Some may mention oil temperature......don't worry. Just stop testing if it begins to get too hot; same thing you'd do if it got too hot in flight.
