Hi Folks,

I'm in need of some of those nice Tinnerman washers Europa provided with my kit.

These were shiny (I assume stainless steel), chrome-like in appearance with very thin edges - almost sharp.

The ones I got from Aircraft Spruce were stainless steel but kind of dull gray steel in appearance with thick edges, maybe 10-20 thou.

I use them for my cowl retention and noticed one missing (must have forgotten to tighten it).

Does anyone recommend a source?

Regards,

Admittedly in the ACS 2005-2006 catalogue there are two
types of Tinnerman washers shown.

One is spring steel, the other stainless.

I think what I received last time were thicker and
aluminium. I could look it up ...

I have some tinnerman washers the ouside diameter is .625¨. Would be
suitable for cowling screws. Part Number is NAS1169C10. Google for it.
Even the Europa Classic Baggage Bay Mod came up. Plenty of hits.
