Its real easy to tell what year flex pipe material was made, just look at
the date on it !! Last 2 digits of the numbers printed on the pipe are the
year. So supposed to be new can be checked very easy.
Life depends upon who you listen to but YDB are saying 7.5 years currently.
That's a calendar life, i.e. from new material, it does not matter if its
been in service or not. Aerostar say 10 yrs.
If anyone wants new hoses we can supply, fully assembled, pressure tested
and released with anti chafe sleeve. Using material that's not older than
1.5 years. And no we do not supply raw material.

My 50 is down for new fuel hoses that were supposed to be new from
Shackety.

Thanks for the info. My hoses are off and have been UPS'd out to be
replaced.
