Haven't mounted mine yet, but I kind of like the area to the left and forward of the bottom hatch cutout.
Makes it easy to mount and service later. Looks like a few pieces of ell or angle might make a proper support.
This would locate the ELT behind the left seat, the battery occupying the other side.
Other builders may opt for other locations.
