Hi Folks:

One of the best flyins in the south will be held this weekend, 20-22
Oct 2006, on Ronnie Smith's farm in Lucedale, Mississippi.

GPS coordinates are located here, on the left side of the page:

http://www.flysmla.com/home.htm

My mkIII, Miss P'fer (pee fur)(p'fer plane) is in my hanger and her
engine is still in the basement, but we are going anyhow. The old 5th
wheel is hitched up and ready to go in the morning. We are heading
down to enjoy the flyin, airplane or not.

John W is flying in from Texas, James Tripp is flying down from
Wetumpka, Alabama, Steven Green may fly down from Etowah, Tennessee,
Paul Petty and his pappy in law are driving over from Raleigh,
Mississippi, bet John Cooley will be there too.

Hope to see ya'll all tomorrow.

Hi John H and Gang,
I'll be there. Just got my Firestar back in the air after a 180 hour decarb.
Got to get her dialed in Friday afternoon, put the windscreen back on and
give her a bath.
What about John Bickham. from St. Francisville, La.? Anyone heard from him
lately?

Later,
John Cooley

Hey John C,

Really wanted to go. Planned on flying. This rebuild and mods has drug out way too long. Put the fabric gussets and tapes on the cage yesterday. I've got to take advantage of the good weather today and do some spraying of poly brush. The weather and my off days haven't been cooperating lately. 10+ months of drought ended when I got to the painting stage.

I'll be around soon. Thanks for asking.

I may visit in Febuary. Considering the Rotax 4 stroke class.

I know many pilots and a few true aviators. There is a distinct difference that I have the greatest respect for.
