Dear Listers: I am building a Series 7 Sport with a Corvair engine. Engine is installed and wings mounted. Interested in finding anyone else using Corvair engine. Definitely creates interesting issues. Mine has a ballistic chute ready to install - will use for weight and balance issues. Anybody out there flying Corvair? Ralph Nader, are you listening? John

I will look up the link, but there is a fellow that does and assist in
the conversions. He has years of experience in that area and am sure you
will find it helpful.

I'm installing a Corvair in a S5. I've had it running but ran into some
problems. Mostly due to lack of knowledge. I had some machine work
done and hope to be back on line soon. I just need to do some clean up
work and paint the block and jugs then to assemble it. I have the
mount, exhaust, and intake built. In fact its been on the plane and
running. Just wasn't quite right. I believe I'll have it back on and
running in a month. Drop me a line, either on or off the list.
