Hello!
Does anybody know a (free) software that allows to draw a simple elecitrical
wiring diagram? Would be great to plan the wiring diagram for my XL (and
will be part of the mandatory POH, I have to write for the plane).

Not sure if its free now, but Power Point allowed me to do just that. Look at my web sire under electrical. Not a very in depth drawing but I can get by with them...

Try http://www.expresspcb.com
They are free and very simple. You can draw your own custom components and save them for use in
other drawings. You will want to use the expressSCH software to draw the schematics. The
expressPCB is for setting up electronic boards. It worked for me!

Yes, try "PCB123 Schematic" it is freeware, and EXCELLENT. I can't remember
the exact URL, but you may be able to 'google-it', or try pcb123.com
