I just read the fine print in front of the Kitplanes Directory part 

2- Plans built aircraft.



It point out that designs available as both plans and kits were 

listed in the first part of the directory published a few months 

ago.  The list in this issue is designs that can be built ONLY from plans.



That explains why planes like the 601XL and 701 are missing from this issue.
