Hey everybody, I mislaid the post where someone was offering to rebuild flap valve/handles. Does anybody have that thread?

I just rebuilt both gear valve/handles last weekend. I installed them last Wednesday and no leaks. Don't be afraid to take them apart. More then likely you have some rust built up. I used a very fine, flat stone to take down the matting surfaces. (I can sharpen razor blades with this stone, its that fine.) Either that or take it to a near by machine shop. These units are designed to be rebuilt. Plenty of meat on both halves. Remember how you took it apart. It can go back together any of 4 ways and only one works. We can talk more if you like.
