Hi Ron, yes the floats are now made in Kitchener/Waterloo area. For the
U.S. residents we plan to have stock at Flight Crafters in Florida and
Quality Sport Planes in California later this year. By doing this we
ensure fairness to all North American residents. Were not excluding
anyone, we will also ship overseas and we are in discussion with a
dealer in Europe to also stock our floats at a later date.

As for the DVD, we had great fun helping HomebuiltHELP in it's
production. At the end of the video we show you the reason why we did
it. The video was shot during a weekend and there are things I would
like to have emphasized more and some less. Moreover, it is only a guide
as there are many ways to produce parts for your plane. We just
emphasized what the average person is capable of with small shop tools
and a little time. Is it worthwhile? I believe so, for a person just
starting that have never tried working with aluminium before it saves
about two years of learning. For those who have been doing it for a long
time, you may find a few tidbits and a lot of laughs. Yes even some head
shaking Smile

We filmed it in a realistic crowded environment and not a spotless
hanger, using home shop tools and some tools we made ourselves (which at
the very beginning you see me repairing my brake which David broke the
first day of filming! But I got even! When you see him using the bandsaw
remember he is trying to make it look smooth and easy to cut a piece of
aluminium, he didn't know that the evening before I installed the
dullest blade I had, their was almost no teeth left on that sucker!) Yes
we had fun, David and I work rather well together, best of all is the
fun we have.
