Ok there has been a discussion about the Yak 52TW increase to $285K
(US), but what about the Yak 52TD. Is there a similar increase on the
horizon?

The YAK52 conversion kit is somewhre around US$ 70k to75k. The cost has
still to be worked out in detail.
That includes the kit priced in euros and shipping two way (the old
wings need replacement). A significant part of the cost goes to
subcontractors for inspection and overhaul according to Termikas so
there is little margin to reduce the cost.
Thjen you still have to reassemble the wings and repaint
Overall a modified YAK52 to YAK52TD ends up in the range US$ 140k to
US$150k.
Some savings can be made if multiple orders are shipped at the same time
but so far only two YAK52TDs were brought into US;
I was actually looking into importing, finishing the kit here and
supporting it for the long term.
Anybody interested in participating in such an enterprise?
Everybody says YAK52TD is a beautiful airrplane. Maybe there is some
interest out there
