Hey guys,

Thought this might be a good time to jump in. Iım new here. Just now in
the process of setting up shop for a Radial Rocket build. I havenıt heard
from those guys that the demo sold, Iıll ask tomorrow and if so try and get
a price. Below is a web site for my build. Iıll try and update every week
or so for those interested. I have a tentative start date for the build
around 2/15. Kit is in the shop patiently waiting and an M14-P is on order
with George Coy. Wish me luck and hello to all the Yak folks!

[quote] HI Mark,

Doyou have any idea as to the actual sale price of the Radial Rocket?. Did you
ever get -to fly it? I''ve got a brand new PF in the crate, in reserve for
that little screamer. What prop did they hang on it when it sold?

The "factory built" demo Radial Rocket recently sold on the open market.
Had all the modern avionics and "other stuff" that was recently listed
on the new TW. It sold for less than the TW asking prices, thus my
comparison. Agreed, it would be nice if the gear retracted... But then
consider the savings in insurance because it does not! The 50 will out
turn and out perform the Rocket in a dogfight... But not in a straight
line! Wow is that thing FAST!

Mark

Hello Andy,

Nice site.
Good luck with the project; Mark is a decent guy.

BTW, that engine on RR#2 is not from Vedeneyev - parts likely, but not the whole. RR#1 has a Russian built engine.

Cheers.

Folks, excuse me for passing alone hear-say information. I had heard that the demo Radial Rocket sold from a friend of mine. I went and looked at the advertisement some time ago and when I was told that it had sold, I never checked to see if the story was accurate.

So.... sorry if I passed incorrect info.

Regardless of whether it did or not, it remains one heck of an airplane! Smile

Thanks LawnDart,

I'm still not clear on the various originations of these engines.
Apparently mine will be coming from Bulgaria. I wonder if there is a web
page around that gives the rookie some details on where all the various
M14's are coming from?

Sorry, just got word back from Mark at New Century Aerosport -- it has not sold. Crap. I was hoping that it sold for a quick snap shot at a general street value for the thing. I believe Jeff has taken it off the market when I last talked to him --

Thanks Andy, and again my apologies for passing along info that I did
not personally verify.

That's what you get when you "assume".
