I remember several months ago there was some mention about someone
doing engraving of gas caps.

I seem to have misplaced the reference. Does anyone have a reference
for me?

Thanks
dave

To “N” number or not?

I would have thought that in a country that likes suing each other as much as you guys do the last thing you would do is engrave an identification number on something that can fall off an airplane and drop through someone’s roof
Just a thought J
BTW we in Australia are not far behind you guys.
Cheers

John

Find some lawyer that owns an aircraft, and put his N number on
it Smile. No one will steal fuel caps with an N number on them, so the
theft problem is solved too.

If you are going to put a lawyer's N number on the fuel cap remember that almost everyone loves their own lawyer, it is the other lawyers that they hate.

I got prices from 3 places for doing similar engraving on my throttle
quadrant:

Full Throttle Concepts (Dave Czachorowski) was the least expensive, and he's
doing my quadrant now.
Also, there's Bill Esther and Wayne Cahoon. Bill was the most expensive.
