Hi:



My hand held radio needs new battery, (the  one that came with the radio lasted

only  three years)



I have the Icom A23 model... I have checked around here Orlando, the prices

are  $80.00 and up...Battery is BP-200L  9.6V.



   Any one knows, where I can get something cheaper  ?

Consider a battery pack that you can install rechargeable batteries (NiMH).

For what it's worth... I ordered replacement batteries for my IC-A22 from

Kendoo batteries (http://www.kendoo.com).  They were the cheapest

replacement solution, and i'm still using the Kendoo battery today, 8 years

later.

Go to the aviation radio section E 6nbsp; On that page are several batteries for the A23 E 6nbsp; You can get different capacities or you can get a case that holds standard AA cells E
