I believe it was Denis who wanted pics of spar corrosion. Anyway, attached.
Pic 2631 shows the spare surface near the wing skin. You will see how the
exfoliation has bulged outwards. The tell tale is the wing skin being pushed
from the inside.
Pic 2633 was from the inside surface.
Go check your spars in the areas that are not accessible. I find a small
digi flash camera very good if you can get your hand in through the
lightening holes.
Hole that helps some one. We have seen this on about 6 a/c out of 70 or so
in the UK.
