Very interesting, especially that Mr. Hedrick is a pilot. Probably does not
fly experimental aircraft though and is therefore not accustomed to taking
responsibility for his own actions. His point that the jury found that
there were 2 distinct events and that the crash did not cause the death
makes an interesting point, one that I'm sure the jury did not come up with
themselves but was suggested to them by Mr. Hedrick. I also expect that he
is trying to set a precedent so that if he does something stupid while
flying, he, or his family, can blame someone else and collect more big
money.
