Today I weighed my RV-10. It came in at 1552 lbs.
This aircraft has an I0-540 with an MT 3 blade prop, 3 screen GRT panel with
small backup instruments and a radio stack with audio panel, sl-30, sl-40
and xpdr.
Has a headliner and some side panels of insulation covered in the headliner
material
It seems to me that this number is low. I am using Aircraft Spruce weigh
scales http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/topages/rugglescale.php
Tomorrow I will re-weigh it with the scales in different positions to see if
they are consistent.
Is this weight reasonable. What are the flying RV-10's coming in at empty.
If this is the actual weight, then I will be one happy camper :>)

That's exactly 1 pound heavier than N416EC with the IO-540 and a Hartzell
2-blade, a similar panel in weight, probably, and most or all of the
interior installed and all covered in leather. I don't think that's
probably too terribly far off.

728dd came in at 1613 with paint and 3 screen grt .Also garmin 430 sl30 and tx.That includes paint but no fairings.I used the hartzell.
