Can someone tell me what the DC output should be for the Key West regulator on a 582. My battery appears not to be getting enough charge. The Key West output is 13.7 VDC and I seem to remember it should be higher but forgot.

Thanks, must be a bad cell in the battery. I use the EIS for voltage monitor.

Don, .1 of a volt is nothing.
each cell should be 2.1 volt min.
best test is volt meter across the terminals of battery and even 12.6 volt reading does not mean much until you put a load test to it .
300 amp load will show right away a dead or dying cell . Also know as a carbon pile but you can get a cheap one for 30 $ or so now.
Most shops have one you could take your battery into get tested.

First check that all the cells are full. If they are you may be having a bit of sulphation. Sometimes that can be cured with a digital pulse charger. If the cells are all up on their fluid check the specific gravity of the cells for a weak cell. If you find one you'll probably need a new battery.
Anything over 13V should be enough to charge your battery as long as you don't have to start the engine every ten minutes. Any thing over 15V continuous will cook your battery in a surprisingly short time.
