That is correct Bill. But Van’s plans are drawn nicely except he scatters details all over the place from page one to page 55.
At least the early slow build drawings were like that. I hope in the later years he has got things organized better. The drawings were done nice but, he has things scattered real bad and trying to find details are a problem sometimes.

Phil, I read a quote many years ago from a Tailwind builder who said, "The plans give you a wonderful opportunity to use your imagination."
I doubt I would have gotten mine done without the help from folks on the internet.

So many of these matronics lists are virtually dead.
I am a tailwind fan. Always have been, always will be. Could never get
started. In the mean time I built a Pitts and an RV6. The tailwind still
lingers though. I have a nice RV6, but I think the TW is a more practical
plane when one considers every thing, such as cost to build and simplicity.
