I'm at the point of mounting the tail wheel. I've seen the regular Vans springs, a very nice looking set of stainless steel springs and the new single arm control rod.

Please share your thoughts on what you are using and why.

If you know where the stainless steel springs can be found, I'd appreciate that as well.

Hi Grumpy,

Go with the single arm control rod!!!! I have one on the RV-8 and now on the RV-6! Its like driving a car with the control rod! Much better, positive control! Highly recommend.
