Matt Dralle has heard your comments about attachments and slow connections.
He has worked it out so that attachments get stored on his servers and there
are links to the attachments that are clickable. I am giving it a try with
this post. There should be a link to my attachment within this message.

OK, it looks like it worked! On my Outlook mail client, I had an attachment
called ATT00082.txt. That is just a simple text attachment that contains a
link to the photo. Copy and paste that to your browser and it should open
the photo.

Hey Don,
Those URL links are suppose to be showing up INLINE with your message, not as a separate text enclosure. Check your Outlook configuration for something about viewing [text] enclosures inline. I think there's an option for that.
In Eudora, I just have the URL at the bottom of the message...

Works for me.
For everyone`s convenience, you can hold down the
shift key when clicking on a link and it will open in
a new page. This way you can open a picture, or all
pictures on seperate pages, then go right back to the
list message after closing the pictures. No need to
slowly reload the message or get back to the list.
On some pages I hit the "stop" button on the window
when it has loaded enough. No need to load the
advertising too. Saves time on slow connections.

Don, It worked for me too. I'm sure the list will be happy with Matt's
effort. A question, though. That is some file name for the JPG image. Is
there a reason for a file name that complex?

The file is actually stored on Matt's servers at his office. The file name
is automatically generated and given a url to correspond to the location
deep within his computers. All file names have to be unique, and so the
names are long and complex by their nature. Just the way computers and the
internet are. Actually Matt just loves to confuse everyone.
