I have a GSC 3 bladed prop that I can only get 10 degrees pitch out of because of the center bolt slot .
Has anyone else had this problem ?
How much if any can I elongate the slot?
It goes on a 582 and reaches 6600 RPMs with more throttle to go so I need to have more pich.

I take it you have calibrated your tachometer. The westach units are somewhat less than useless. I had that problem... The Westach read just about 20% high across the board. Imagine taking off (at)4200 rpm with a 582 in a model III on floats!
