Well...I don't fly the CJ unless it is 40 degrees or more so there is no need for cabin heat. However, if you must, I would skip ducting, cube heaters, etc and just opt for heated clothing. Or, as an alternative, you could get a cold weather flight suit (CW/u-64-P). They are readily available on eBay.
Here is a source for battery operated heated clothing. Note they also have plug in clothing. Just make sure your wiring to the power outlet (cigarette lighter) has the proper wire size and your alternator/generator can handle the extra demand. Also note their plug in clothing is all 12 VDC.
