After happily and successfully fitting a tri-gear undercarriage (thanks to the excellence of Neville Eyre) to my Classic, it quickly became obvious that I would need more horsepower to operate off grass and soft runways. So I've acquired and fitted a 100hp 912S, which necessitated modifying my Airmaster AP308 propeller and fitting wider blades.
I can't praise Airmaster NZ highly enough for supplying the wider blades with ferrules fitted and for modifying the hub mechanism to allow the blades to operate in a coarser pitch range. I also had to remove the old AC100 controller and fit the AC200. I really appreciate their high quality of workmanship and service.
Now to find a good use for the trusty 80hp engine and WarpDrive tapered blades with Airmaster ferrules.
