Chaps

Peculiar problem has presented itself this week on my Housai engined CJ6.

The yellow warning light on the instrument panel is flickering over 1100rpm and increasing rpm has no effect. I noticed the volt meter on the instrument panel also is fluctuating with the above flickering of the generator warning light.

I know the brushes are good from visual inspection on the last 10 hrs.

Could there be some moisture ingress into a cannon plug on the system?

Anyone had this happen or have idea where to start checking things?

Go to http://www.odysseybattery.com  there is a tech manual on the website that has a lot of great information on the handling of the batteries. They like a different charge cycle than a flooded cell battery.
